The STAR TRACE line of permanent magnets, packaged in the system are composed of licensed grade 52 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish.

Rare Earth Magnets Composition:

The rare earth magnets are made of alloys of the anthanide group of elements. Neodymium and samarium are the two lanthanide elements that are most prevalent while manufacturing permanent magnets. These rare earth magnets can be availed in sintered and bonded forms and can also be availed in different coatings. Nickel-Copper-Nickel plating offer superb resistance to corrosion and durability in addition to providing a clean & shiny look.
