Permanent Magnetic Lifter (cam type)

Permanent magnetic cam lifters are designed for transporting semi-finished products with flat faces such as machine parts, moulds, black steel plates, flat iron and steel materials etc. Powerful permanent magnetic material ensures very strong absorptive power and a wide attractive face for effective handling of jobs. Cam type lifters can be easily operated as the attaching and detaching of jobs is done with cam mechanism. These lifters are very powerful and care should be taken as attraction onto polished surface may cause scratches. These are practically maintenance free except keeping the good magnetic face.

Hand Lift Magnets

• Hand lift magnets can be very conveniently and safely used singly or in pair for pulling steel sheets and carrying iron and steel materials, moulds, dies etc. A new cam mechanism is designed with carbon steel flap for easy operation. The on position is when the handle is vertically up or right down and the releasing of job is done by turning the handle to the left. As the work is held and released very smoothly the possibility of scratches on the holding surface is very less.

Toucher Magnets:

• Toucher magnets are very useful for carrying jobs which otherwise would be difficult to handle due to complex shapes or high temperature. Attraction and removal is done by simple one touch mechanism. They are very useful for positioning of small pieces at welding operation and a wide range of other applications. The release is done by a jack up lever.
  

• Shells of lifting magnets are made from high permeability steel casting as per is: 449 (bss- 1617), properly machined, to provide the most efficient magnetic circuit. The periphery of the magnet is heavily ribbed to give added mechanical strength and an increased radiation surface to aid cooling. Center & outer poles are machined from high permeability magnet steel with cored recesses arrangement to protect heads of through tensile bolts. The faces of poles from spigot joints in magnet shell , the outer poles of larger magnets are skirted for added protection. The pole shoes are easily replaceable. Terminal box is designed to ensure protection whilst in operation and are of double entry type enabling the leads from the coils to be sealed in a separate cavity. The outside cable is brought through a gland into this second compartment ensuring no possibility of moisture entering the windings.
• Magnetizing coils for magnet size up to 900 mm dia is pure annealed wire wound and above these are strip wound. The glass insulation of class h standard with fibreglass nomex tape forming an interlayer makes coil withstand high temperature. Bumping plates are of high grade manganese steel casting as per is - 276 with heavy ribs for added strength. These are clamped in position by the center and outer poles offering complete protection to the coil. The magnets are suspended with three legged string chains made of best quality forged steel terminating in a forged ring. A two core cable is provided for connection with the supply and suitable insulated plug and socket ensure easy operation.

• Material consistency and compact ability which influence flow characteristics are important factors in grate magnet applications. Awareness of material with tendencies to bridge between the magnet tubes is necessary for positive flow. Diverter systems are helpful in directing the material to the magnets, but diverters can tend to increase bridging and reduce uniform flow. It is important that material have a natural product flow.

Round tube type:

• Magnetic grates deliver ferrous tramp metal separation in bins, chutes, drawers, hoppers and circular enclosures. Star trace grates are constructed with one inch diameter magnetic tubes placed on two inch (2) centers in heavy duty 1/8" thick 2" wide 304 stainless steel framing.
• The round magnetic grates are available in 30 standard diameters from 4 inches through 36 inches. Special sizes are also available. Each of these round grates can be equipped with diverters. The high strength magnet material used in star trace grates has an approximate magnetic loss of 1/2 of 1 percent per year.

• Square tube magnet separation grates are ideal for heavy duty applications where high product volume is involved. Having strong magnetic fields, the square tubes are installed with the leading edge toward the material flow.
• This positioning helps eliminate material bridging and provides a protected collecting area along the bottom of the magnet where ferrous tramp metal remains out of the material flow. It can be used ahead of processing equipment and bulk load out to assure product purity and protect machinery from tramp metal damage. The nose cone diverter and magnet assembly of the bullet is designed to maintain a balanced flow through the housing thereby maintaining uniform velocity in line flow. Rare earth bullet magnets provide an exceptionally powerful magnetic field to capture fine particles previously unattainable. He rare earth bullet magnet is easily cleaned by opening the hinged door to remove the magnet from the line. Once the magnet is away from the line a quick pull on the magnet element allows all captured tramp metal to fall off.

• Operating principle:A short special fabric conveyor belt envelopes the magnetic roll and a tensioning idle roll which was driven by a motor. A feeder discharges material on the belt on the continuous controlled rate of flow at uniform layer thickness. The ferromagnetic and para magnetic particles adhere to the belt while the nonmagnetic particles flow freely off the end of the conveyor. The division of para magnetic and nonmagnetic can be adjusted by using a splitter plate located below the belt. It can be configured stacked in any no of passes to suit the user requirement.
• Application: The open design of the Star Trace allows both coarse and very weakly magnetic materials to be treated successfully. Proven dry process application includes material from 75 microns up to 100 mm (4 inches) particle size, at throughputs from 200 kgs to 60 TPH ( depending on size)

Funnel Magnets

• Powerful anisotropy permanent magnets with special arrangement are enclosed in a s. S. Cylinder. The top plate of the magnetic filter is provided with number of grooves to guide the slurry to a specific path to give the maximum efficiency. This is a very useful tool to filter out all iron impurities from any liquid very useful for ceramic glazes, colours, oil and chemical industries can be supplied with or without funnel.

Rotary Motorized Magnetic Grids

• Rotary Motorised Magnetic Grids has SS Magnet Tubes on a circular arrangement held in place by two stainless steel end plates, a Speed Reduction Gear Motor and Starter. This is ideal for material that do not flow easily and obstruct flow in plain Grid.Rotary Grid is recommended for Sticky Diary products, pulverized minerals and ceramics, fibrous substances, Lino and fine cohesive materials such as magnesium oxide, zircon powder, fly ash, alumina, gypsum, lime, powder sugar, cornstarch and flour. This Barrel Grate Separator provides final magnetic action on bulk foods. Chemical, pharmaceuticals, etc, being packaged in barrels similar type containers. These units are the result of many requests for a portable type magnetic separator for use in a final separating action as materials of large containers. The bank of grate magnets are placed in the housing in a staggered position and lock into place with the support bars fitted into the grooves of the preceding grate. A unit of standard construction has stainless steel tubes with mild steel frame, flange and handles. On stainless steel units the frame, flange and handles are also of stainless steel.
